I found this pc and I was wondering if it could run most of the new games with atleast 60fps. It says it is $500 but im not sure if that is true. If there is any way to improve it to make it better and it is under $800 that would be aw esome! If it helps I live in Victoria Australia. I will be recording, editing and playing games like Arma 3, Project Cars, GTA 5 and most of the new games coming out!
Thanks!

its because the motherboard you have isn't compatible with Skylake processors, change the mobo RAM and CPU also you don't need that cooler for a non overclockable cpu. have a look at the following build.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7GHz Quad-Core Processor ($245.00 @ Centre Com)
Motherboard: Asus B150M-K D3 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($78.00 @ CPL Online)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($58.00 @ IJK)
Storage: Sandisk SSD PLUS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive...
Sadly those parts come out in AUS for more like:
PC Case Gear - Shared Shopping Cart
1 x Intel Core i5 6500 - $289.00ea
1 x Gigabyte H110M-H Motherboard - $89.00ea
1 x Kingston HyperX Fury HX424C15FBK2/8 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 Black - $59.00ea
1 x Transcend SSD220 TLC 240GB SSD - $85.00ea
1 x NZXT S340 Mid Tower Case Black/Blue - $115.00ea
1 x EVGA 700B 700W Power Supply - $109.00ea
1 x XFX Radeon RX 480 Black OC 8GB - $399.00ea
1 x Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX - $69.00ea
Total: $1,214.00 - @pccasegear.com 25/07/2016

There are some things discrepancies with my list, like the RAM being 2x4GB, however the price works out around the same for a single 1x8GB, with the 1x8GB being a better choice as the Motherboard only has 2 DIMMs and leaving one open for future requirements is a good idea.
But over all thats what the build will come out to approximately, some shopping around might save you $50-75

Thanks
If you can would you be able to post a link to a good one? :)

Ok thanks!

Honestly this is the best posbbile (Gaming) build I can get you for about 800AUD as parts are so expensive over there. don't get me wrong its a fantastic little setup but you wont be getting ultra settings on AAA games at 1080p

Sadly this is about as good as you can do at 800AUD, if you want to record and video edit and things I would suggest saving up to 1200AUD and going with a similar build with the CPU upgraded to an i5, GPU to a RX 480 or 1060, and adding in an SSD.

Woud that pc run at medium to high settings on at least half of the new games? and will it be able to record and edit videos? Or will i be better off going with the ironside minion or something like that?

this build will play every game that I cant think of on medium settings with a good frame rate without much of problem. it will also play games like league on wow on very high/ultra with no problem just FYI.

Would it work better with like an i5 quad core?

Would it be good if i put in an i5 quad core and and kept the rest how it is?

yep changing the i3-6100 for something like the i5-6400 would be a fantastic option :)

awesome! i will add the i5-6400 :)

So change that to a i5-6400 as well?
