System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Surfing the net, Multi-tasking

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: NCIX, Canadacomputers, any Canadian retailer

Country of Origin: Canada

Parts Preferences: I5-2500k (if possible), 22-24inch monitor

Overclocking: Yes, but not a priority

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe (not neccessary, but nice to have)

Monitor Resolution: Depends on monitor selected

Additional Comments: I want the best bang for the buck, so if I5-2500k is pushing it, feel free to replace it with a cheaper alternative. So basically I want the best gaming system you can build for under $850 (including monitor).

That's a great build. Keep the 2500k. It will last a good 2 to 3 years before needing an upgrade. You GPU is fine (you also have the choice to get a second in the future and you PSU will still have more than enough power to supply your PC).

Have you consider Intel Core i5-760? There is a sail on Canada Computers. CPU is 169.88 $. That is slower CPU than 2500k, but faster than any Core i3 CPU and have good overclocking possibilities.

rohit why are you suggesting 2500k for $800 gaming rig.i3 2100 will do his job for now.and he can also upgrade to ivy bridge.change the gfx to msi radeon hd 6870.
