ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I have spent countless hours reading the amazingly informative articles on this site and have pieced together what I think is an acceptable first build. As you can probably tell, I am brand new to this so some choices I have made may be horribly incorrect or seem illogical. You might also notice that the purchase date is a good time away, this is definitely not my final decision, but instead, a framework that I want to iron out and make perfect by the time I have obtained enough cash to finally take the plunge. Well there it is, again, I am not 100% on any of the parts, this is just my first test assembly. Added up, this build is near $1000 which is 200 over the amount I want to spend. So please, if you see any areas where I can cut costs and still get good performance say so. Also, I think I am good with compatability, and having everything fit together, but if not please let me know. Thanks again for all your time!

If you are wanting to drop to around $800, here are my suggestions....

■CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 440 - A better gaming CPU with the higher clock speeds.
■HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB - Faster and cheaper than the 750GB Seagate or make the jump up to the Seagate 7200.12 1TB
■PSU: CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-650HX - More than enough power for two 5750's....
■Case: The Silverstone is a GREAT case but if you are looking to cut cost, it might be a good option to drop down to the Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced
