800 or 1066

Im not sure if i uderstand clear.... my mobo is MSI k9ka platimun.... i read the info that it can run 1066 memeory... but do i need to have phemon AMD chip for that? cuz mine is AMD black edition 5000+ can it still run 1066 memeory ram? or should be better if i get 800 instead. Im planing upgrade from 2gb to 4gb...

can i run 800 and 1066 memory same time on mobo?

The memory will just downclock to 800 if you use 1066 and 800 together and yes you need a phenom to run at 1066 anyways. The performance difference is not significant anyway, bear in mind though that 1066 ram is just 800 which has been tested to run at 1066 so if you have good quality ram you can have a go at running it at 1066 if you do get a phennom.
