RX6600 is far more powerful, at a similar price. The 12100f would be a much better CPU, but only best buy is carrying it, and it is out of stock, still. A little over the $800 mark, but well worth the little extra.

I think it's great to see budget builds become possible again. I feel like your parts selection is prudent for the price point and requirements of the build. Hope the build goes well and it performs to your expectation.

I would warn that the case design seems to have poor airflow from the front. It should not be an issue with your current parts selection, so just keep in mind for higher power CPU/GPU upgrades in the future.

A quick question, when I add a m.2 ssd to this, it gives me a warning. Is that true that I need a rocket lake cpu to use the m.2 slot?
