I am in the process of putting together a small wireless network. The systems are all running Win-XP with SP/1. I am using a Linksys WRT54G router and WMP54G nic's. Everything installed and connected easily however, I am having trouble with workstations periodicaly dropping their network connection about every 5 minutes and needing to be manually reconected. After speaking with Linksys tech support several times, one support person explained that this was a common problem with the WMP54G nic. Niiiice. This is of course after several other support personel ran me through the wringer trying multiple fixes. Anyway my question is: Is 802.11g ready? Any ideas to get this network up and running? Is there a better/more stable small network solution out there? (4 workstations some resource sharing) Should I be looking at 802.11b? Help!

Thanks in advance

Have you installed the latest firmware for all components? It would seem like the connection would drop only if the signal is very low.
