i got the noctua nh-d15 and my psu is this
https://www.google.com/shopping/product/4407546617022148644?q=antec+vp550f+550w&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=935&prds=paur:ClkAsKraX4HI0DK7S4djZDM0vAVf7-DhtWd2i95gdKaW3xo6fxroVmq51K5R3dYh7dHsrNYr2vnww7b9HFTForuKTPINOdk5T7R_9jnfI4scmEKuT26d0dROtRIZAFPVH71Ec3UAs8d4ysmSjl1WKl7Jt7oZjQ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj41LmasdfPAhVFyVQKHdUZCrsQ8wIIrgUwAA

so is this enough?

can i copy the exact same setup to overclock my 8320e on this motherboard? coz i heard this 970a krait edition is not good for overclocking

well, if it won´t boot, the overclocking failed. You would have to reset the BIOS if it does.

Normally you should overclock step by step. From low to high frequencies. First without raising voltage:

For 4.1GHz it would be:

CPU Multiplier @ 20.5
FSB @ 200
AMD Turbo: Disabled
XMP ram profile: Disabled

for 4.2GHz:
multiplier to 21

and so on

check temperatures after each raise

The problem of your board is the VRM power phase design. Too less VRMs for real overclocking there. But you can try to get it stable

how about the voltage should I change it too? because right now with OC GENIE 4 my voltage is around 1.4v - 1.43 play around that number. Is it easier to overclock it directly to 4.5 or much safer to do it 1 at a time?

how do you know if your overclock becomes unstable? sorry super noob here 🙁

if it boots to windows, that´s the first step to know it could be ok

then you will have to test your system e.g. with prime95 (smallfft) to get the cpu a full load. If there isn´t an error for about 8hours, it should be stable. Check the temp margin with "amd overdrive". if it´s getting near "0", it will overheat/throttle to get normal temperature.
No problem there, because the cpu will just throttle and wouldn´t be damaged by it. If it´s getting near to "0", the voltage is too high or the cooler is not sufficient or the CPU is not overclockable more then that.

do you have the link for prime95? because i dont want to just randomly download it in a wrong site or source, thanks. I got noctua d15 i hope its enough. i got 550w psu do you think PSU is also the problem?

i run the test and it show some core stop working i saw 100 warnings and something else im not sure. but some cores passed the test. what should i do now? I overclock it to 4.5ghz

i run it at 4.5ghz with +0.2900000 in volts and run it on prime95 test the one you told me and for an hour no errors or warnings everytest pass so is this stable?
