Hey, im currently running:

fx-8120 @ 4.0ghz
990fxa-ud3
corsair veangence 8gb ram
corsair force gt 90gb ssd
gtx 560 gpu
bitfenix merc beta
hyper 212 evo

So my question is.
Should i replace the whole platform and go for the 3770k and get a weaker gpu (660) or get an fx-8320 or fx-8350, get a better case for better overclocking and airflow and get a stronger gpu (660ti)

I play cpu heavy games like rift and i also do a lot of livestreaming on twitch.

Whats your opinion and suggestion ?

yea but in rift ive seen people with i7-s get like 40-50fps with ultra settings while i have to sit there with 30fps and medium settings :/

rift is really cpu-heavy game. also is it worth gettin an 8320 over the 8120 ? how big of an upgrade it is ? should i get the 8350 instead ? i plan to OC my cpu to the max.

8320 - 160 euros
8350 - 220 euros

which one is more worth ?

so,
8320, 7970/670 and a corsair 500r maybe ?

that would be good overflow with a good gpu and i already have a hyper 212 evo :)
around this will cost about 600 euros which is right in my budget, what do you guys think ?

for gaming, get a 6300 and OC it and put the remaining money on GPU (skip 660Ti, non ti is better for what it offers for price, if you can settle for a 670 it will be awesome)

If you go intel you will be wasting an extra $100 on a motherboard for the new chip. If you go AMD, you will essentially have an extra $100 to spend on a GPU. I agree that the i5's are better for gaming, but not to the exent that they can make up a level or two difference in video cards.

FX-8350 + 7950 > i5-3570K + GTX660 + New Z77 MB

guys, im not only gaming. im also livestreaming at the same time which is a hard hit on the cpu, consider that aswell plz.

btw, 8320 is 160 euros, while 3570k is 220 and 3770k is 310, now upgrading to intel means like an extra 320 euros to spend.

I cant go SLI either cause i have a 600W PSU which means i have to upgrade it.

what about 3570k (210) + z77 mobo (120) and a 7950 ?

that doesent leave me money for a better case so im stuck with the shitty airflow and not very good OC, but atleast i can sell my 560 and whole am3+ mobo + cpu.

What do you think about that ? Will a 3570k handle gaming+streaming at the same time better than an fx-8320 ?

But then by that logic you could get a 8320 and a 7970 and keep your case. It's not going to be a good value going Intel no matter how you cut it. It might result in marginally better CPU performance, but you'll be getting a worse graphics card or giving up something else to get it.

There's not much of a gain from an 8120 to an 8350. I'd just keep the 8120 and get a really good GPU, like a 7970/680 for the money saved.

If you absolutely need a faster CPU, go with a 3570k. There's no value in changing your CPU to yet another AMD CPU.

i still need more opinions guys.
would an fx-8320 really not make a big difference with a good case and 4.5ghz overclock ? atm whats limiting my OC is the airflow of ,my shitty case.

i will be playing extremely CPU heavy games while livestreaming which is also cpu heavy. will a 3570k handle it ?
