8350 or 8370?

I'm building a gaming PC and wanted to know everyone's opinion: 8350 or 8370? I know the 8370 performs a bit better, but I would be willing to just get the 8350 if it isn't much of a difference. I'm also worried about the 8350 being older--does that make a difference?

No it doesn't make a difference. I recommend the 8320 considering that can be overclocked to the same levels of the 8370 and costs only $140!!!

you need to be lucky with the 8320 to be overclockable to the 8570 though. some of the 8320's re 8350 who didnt reach the clockspeed to be a 8350 so they just labeled it 8320. but this doesnt happen much. I'm jsut warning you in advance that you may have some bad luck!

me on th eother hand. I have a fx8320 which is overclocked to 4.1GHz without touching the voltages. so I can go furher and easily reach the performance of a fx 8370

What if I don't do any overclocking? Still worth it to go for the 8320 or 8350?

well, if you dont want to overclock...the fx 8350 is better then the 8320. and it's not worth it to pay extra for a 8370. you could also concider going for intel. atm they have better CPU's. but they are more expensive aswell.
