I got myself an NH D15 a while ago, my temps at idle were around 15-20c.
Now about 1 year later I have noticed that my temps ahve gone up by 6c.

Here are the factors I that may affect the results;

* I move my pc alot so the heatsink may have moved a bit (unlikely but I dont want to rule it out).

* It's summer time.

* Dust? (Altho my pc is fairly clean)

* Replace thermal paste?

What are your thoughts on this?

Solution
You should replace your thermal paste at least every year or often. On my cooler there is screws that need to be tighten once a year because they will get loose.

I removed some hidden dust, brought the temps down to 17c minimum, since its summer I guess its a bit warmer too.
Will replace the paste this week, that will probably reduce my temps by 1-2c (not really necesary tbh since I have headroom up to 80c under load) but, ya know... :p
