Depends on resolution you want to use and fps you target, but you should upgrade the CPU in any case. I you are playing mostly for fun- an incoming Ryzen CPU (4/8 or 6/12 variant) with RX480 and freesync monitor configuration (a model with low frame compensation) would bring best experience and be very futureproof.
