850 Pro vs 860 Pro

Hi.

Which one is the best option? I will use it mostly for games (1TB version). I know that 850 Pro comes with longer warranty (10 years over the 5 in 860 Pro) and lower TBW (300 vs 1200) but I'm pretty sure that I won't write so many TB over the years. I have 840 Evo 250GB right now and after 3 years total writes are only 24TB.

So which one should I choose? 860 Pro because it's newer and it will have better firmware support?

Also: 850 Pro is more expensive than 860 Pro in my country.

I would honestly get whatever is cheaper or just get an Evo varient, 24TBW after 3 years is nothing, no reason for a pro variant. I on the other hand have 100TBW after ~ 1 year of usage..

Evo version has TLC :/
I heard that on TLC SSD's when you use more space than 70% of capacity it dramatically slows down so that's why I want to buy MLC SSD.

For any SSD, you should not fill it up too much.
70-75% is about right.
