850 pro z170 6600k 16gb slow boot

hay guys, I recently brought a 6600k and z170-a motherboard plus 16gb of DDR4 ram and my boot times are slower than my older fx8320 from AMD how can I get faster boot times? it takes a good minute and 30 seconds are spend loading windows my 850 pro is in AHCI mode with RAPID in samsung magician, is this my motherboard or windows?

no when I upgraded from my sandisk x110 128GB to my samsung 850 pro 500GB I used samsungs tool to copy everything from 1 drive to the new one

I've cloned in past ans workee fine. 90secs is long. I'm seeing 20 seconds from cold boot to desktop no password....

What takes the time? Win loading screen?

yes, it just loads for a good 30 seconds and then boots super fast, just wondering if there is a way to speed this up? I've seen people with the same SSD get 3 second boot times?

When you upgrade to motherboard with different chipset, you have to reinstall windows.
If you don't, you get various problems. Slow boot is only one of them. It's easier just to reinstall.

And "3 second" boot is possible only in UEFI mode.

what is UEFI mode? I only know of it as the upgraded BIOS with better GUI?

it's now faster on windows start all together it's 21 seconds from button press to lock screen, but I know this can be faster
