850E chipset

which is better, the Intel 850EMD2 or the ASUSTeK P4T533C? Intel is only validated for PC800, but the P4T533C is validated for PC1066! Should that be the deciding factor? or should I take other things into considerations? Also the P4T533C comes with 6 channel audio (optional). would it be better to get it (if i get the P4T533C) w/out the audio and get a Voyetra Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card to put into it instead?

Surely the P4T533-C for best performance, and surely NOT using the onboard audio, if present, if you're an audio buff. And surely WITH PC1066 and either a Northwood A overclocked to 533, or a Northwood B processor.
