So, I will probobly buy a evga super nova g2 850w and I want it to be futureproof so I dont need to upgrade psu for like 5+years. Which you believe are the max capabilities of it? example 2x980ti 4x980ti 1xnvidia pascal 3xr9295x?
Depending on the system 2 980Ti's will work, if you're using an Intel processor. I wouldn't do it with an AMD FX-9590.
On the AMD Card side you could probably run 2 R9 390's, as long as you aren't overclocking, but to go with the 390x or better you'd need more like 1000w.
Pascal in theory will be more efficient but nobody knows real numbers for sure.

I'm not sure to be honest, but if I had an i5-4460, I wouldn't hesitate to get a 980 Ti.
By the way, I should mention that ten days ago I purchased two EVGA 980 Ti FTW cards. They both came with coupons for 50% off EVGA power supplies. My point is: it's possible that you may get a similar coupon to purchase a EVGA power supply at a 50% discount. The downside is that you won't know until you receive the card. Also the discount only applies to a PSU that you purchase directly from EVGA. NewEgg has better prices, therefore, I'd approximate that you're only saving roughly 33% off the NewEgg price.
rcald2000 If/When I get the 980ti I will upgrade to i7 in some years. How can you purchase a evga psu directly from them? I wont buy it from newegg or ebay or amazon cause I am abroad..
