860 Evo M2 question

Hello guys ! I only have one sata port in my motherboard available, if I buy a m2 860 Evo consumes one sata or two port ? Thanks

All storage devices only take up one SATA port. If you don't have any other storage device using up the SATA port, you'll be fine.

If I choose x4 speed for the m2 consumes two ports right ? And x2 consumes one ?

Just read motherboard specification, if you can't share motherboard model name.

M.2 sata drive can be used in M.2_1 slot only (lower part of the board).
When M.2 sata device is used, SATA_1 port gets disabled (M.2 860 evo is sata device).
