I'm am pulling my hair out at this point having major issues formatting SSDs on OSX (High Sierra 13.6), doesn't matter if it's AFPS or HFS+
I get multiple different errors every time. I finally get it to format, and the drives will fail and all the data copied over will be lost.
I've tried changing the enclosure (OWC Thunderbay 4), tried changing the SATA adapter going to the enclosure (REV B Blindmate), all based on the posts out there saying that this is usually due to a bad connection. I've tried 3 different drives. This is also on two different Macs!
I don't know what I could possibly be doing wrong, I've formatted so many drives in my life on Windows. Please please, if you have any idea what could be going wrong here, enlighten me. I'm really at my wits end.
