The SSD i just bought yesterday didnt detected by BIOS when i put it become a main drive in my laptop, but its detected if i use it as external drive
Oh i also had test using my friends adata SSD and its detected.

Problem is i want to use it as my main drive.
oh the laptop is Lenovo Y50-70, and the SSD is 1TB if that helps
Is the problem is the SSD or the cable or the MoBo ?

Using the original HDD

Thanks in advance.

what does it look like when placing the SSD internally? SSDs are usually a bit thinner then HDDs and if theyre not mounted tightly, it can cause connection/detection issues.
The holder its a thin piece of metal that have 4 screws, while the sata connection is a flexible cable that free from the board, so i dont think the cable is loose
Here a pic from google since i had assmble and put it in my bag
