OCed my 8700k to 4.7ghz all cores @ 1.31v with LLC level at 3 and AVX offset of 3. Stable during Prime95 stress testing for 30minutes.

I tried OCing to 5ghz and keep BSOD and crashing once I start Prime95 test. Voltage was set to 1.415v and still crashing.. I don't want to go above that voltage since it seems way too high for a 5ghz OC.

Am I doing something wrong? I tried level 5 LLC and it still crashed.

Z370-A ASus mobo btw.

Not all CPU can OC same, there comes in "binning", if all could run at 5GHz reliably Intel would stated that.
Some call it "Silicone lottery".
