Hi Guys, after much research and deliberation, I have come up with my 8700k build. List is here.
http://amzn.eu/eHZMhIN

Basically 8700k, 1080ti, 32gb @3000mhz, decent power supply, cas. and a 500gb NvME for OS, 4tb 7200 Barry pro for storage.

My build is almost exclusively for editing in premiere pro, will be getting into after effects and VR editing/production.

I have questions.. Puget systems benches the 8700k over the ryzen 2700x in most tasks relevant to this build, opinions?

Would those of you who know ditch the 1080ti for a 1060, spend the difference on an i9 7900 for better CPU overall? (I do use lumetri, luts, warp stabilise etc, that all use GPU through Premiere).

Any there opinions on the build? I am open to suggestions on MB especially, tho I think this one on the list is a decent choice.

Would really appreciate some expert input !

Nice build you got there, I think it would suffice for all your video editing needs. Video Editing is a CPU intensive task, and it can aid from powerful GPUs so having more cores will definitely benefit. So maybe the Ryzen 7 2700X / Ryzen 7 2700 Will just barely edge out the 8700k there. (2700X is a bit more expensive on amazon). The motherboard you chose is an excellent choice.

On the GPU, I think you can get away with getting a 1070Ti and a better CPU. I wouldn't go 1060 though, as video editing can benefit from powerful GPUs.

Overall, I would go for a 1070Ti and spend the extra money on a Ryzen 7 2700X and a X370 (or X470 if budget allows) motherboard. Will be better than 8700k in your usage.
