Hi all, after a bit of help.

Purchased a used PC with an 8700k with a corsair H115i cooler, its idle temps are 40-50 but as soon as i run a game the temps shoot up to 95-100 degrees?

I have checked all connections, fans, reseated the cooler, flashed the BIOS and the issue still persists. Any ideas?

Thanks

The radiator fans are set to balanced on the icue software, they dont seem to increase in speed, i cant feel any hot air being exhausted from them either

Get a good Phateks or Noctua or Thermalright tower. AIO's are pure garbage.

I can see this question is resolved more or less and I think getting a new cooler is the best long term solution. A comment I can make from experience is that I had a stuck corsair pump and managed to coax it to life by booting up with the PC laying on its side, (motherboard laying face up and horizontal). It would initially sound rough but after 30 seconds or so began to run smooth again before I lifted upright to normal position. It bought me a few days of use before the new cooler arrived.
