I mainly do gaming, but i am starting to stream alot more. Im looking to game and stream on the same machine, but i heard intel gets better fps, and can still stream as well. I need this to last me 5+ years. Im thinking about pairing whichever i get with a gtx 1080 maybe a 1080ti if price is right.

I heard if i go ryzen its a bit better for streaming, and i can also save some money and not worry about a cooler.

I already have a 240gb ssd, 600w corsair cx psu, and a 1tb western digital blue. So i pretty much need everything else. If someone can help me build something within a $1400 budget that would be amazing.

Games i play currently

wow, csgo, fortnite, battle royals, nba2k19, and i will be getting into newer games. I mainly play multiplayer esport type games.

If you can, then maybe wait for the Intel I9-9900K as that will give you the best of both. If you have to buy now, then consider that the 8700K is better for gaming but the 2 extra cores on the 2700X will benefit your streaming.

Also i notice that the PSU you have is 600w, which means it's the old "green label" Corsair CX, i would change that to something better.

The i9 is going to be 2 much money. I currently stream with no issues on my 7700k with a gtx 1060 6gb, but im giving this pc to my fiance, and i need to get something new for myself. I just cant decide which cpu i should go with out of these 2. I mainly do gaming, but i know if i go ryzen i can save money and not worry about a cooler to. Im getting this as a gift i dont work due to an accident. So this is going to have to last me several years. I wont have money to upgrade for a long long time. I will want to do streaming though as well. So im leaning toward Ryzen, but whats the difference when not streaming. Is ithe 8700k that far ahead ?
