my power supply is 220v/4 ampere will gt 730 2gb ddr5 and intel core2 quad q9550 work on it or I'll have to change it?
it's G-200w gamma psuThat's the input voltage requirements from the wall. What's important is the output wattage, 12v wattage or amperage especially.
But no, its not an 880w psu.
The GT 730 is only 25w, so shouldn't be an issue for almost any psu.
i just want to understandThat should draw less than 150-200W. But most good quality PSUs only have 450W options on the lowest end, so you'll probably end up getting that.
I understand that the GT 730 is powered off the PCIe slot. If you already have a 200W power supply, it should do fine with a GT 730. I was just saying if you are buying a new one, the good units generally are 450W at the lowest end.i just want to understand
the gpu isn't connected with cables it's connected in a put like the ram put and from the other side the monitor cable
that's my current gpu
so when i get gt 730 2gb ddr5 will i need.to buy power supply for it? I've 200watt power supply
oh..thank you ❤️I understand that the GT 730 is powered off the PCIe slot. If you already have a 200W power supply, it should do fine with a GT 730. I was just saying if you are buying a new one, the good units generally are 450W at the lowest end.
Thats really an over estimate. The core 2 quad only draws up to about 110W, and the Gt 730 draws a maximum of 25W. Add 5W for ram, 5W for drives, 5W for motherboard, and you get 150W, at full load.350W will do but I'm not sure you'll be able to find it nowadays
400W will do too
Sure my number are over estimate, but it's hard to find 250-300W PSU, let alone 150-200WThats really an over estimate. The core 2 quad only draws up to about 110W, and the Gt 730 draws a maximum of 25W. Add 5W for ram, 5W for drives, 5W for motherboard, and you get 150W, at full load.

He did mention earlier he already had a 200W PSUSure my number are over estimate, but it's hard to find 250-300W PSU, let alone 150-200W
No, you won't have to.my power supply is 200w
my gpu isn't connected with cables it's put in a put like the ram put and from other side connected to the monitor cable so should i need to buy a new one when i buy gt 730 2gb ddr5?
so my 200w power supply is enough? He did mention earlier he already had a 200W PSU
No, you won't have to.
No need to buy new PSUmy power supply is 200w

Ah, my badHe did mention earlier he already had a 200W PSU
No, you won't have to.
More a question of quality than quantity. A high quality 200W PSU can do 200W continuous and 250-300W peak to accommodate transients. A poor quality 450W PSU might do 200W continuous and blow up at 300W.so my 200w power supply is enough?
The 200W PSU is probably an OEM or something, since PSUs that are 200W and of acceptable quality are rareMore a question of quality than quantity.
