8800gs on a8n-sli

i have just got an 8800gs but when i install it on the motherboard and boot up it just constantly beeps at me, its one continuously long beep
anyone know what the problem is if so how to solve it

Check that its seated in the slot properly and that you have the extra power connector plugged in to the gfx card

Yeah, sounds like you didn't plug in the extra power connector.
