Question 8gb + 16gb same module different size.can i run it?

can i sync the system with an 8gb memory and a 16 gb memory? 4 dimms 4-8-4-8 =24gb
now i have Corsair-Vengeance-LPX-8GB-DDR4-3000MHz and i want to buy Corsair Vengeance LPX-16GB-DDR4-3000MHz.
in my country i cant found the first ram,whenever i think about buying 16gb.
8gb are running at 2933Mhz.

You might get lucky, you might not, normal advice is sticks from the same pack, sold as a pair.

You may have to fiddle with timings and sub timings a lot o make it work, you'll lose them with a bios update, they may or may not work after an update. It's pure luck to work first time.
