8gb 1866mhz vs 16gb ddr3 1600mhz? Please fast answer

So what will be fastest? 8gb ddr 1866mhz or 16gb 1600mhz.

Kingston DDR3 HyperX Beast 8GB costs 141 dollars while Kingston DDR3 HyperX Beast 16GB 1600MHz costs 224 dollars. I'am not gonna do any heavy video editing, just add a color correction and render it. I'am not gonna Photoshop. I will be mostly only playing on it. Like crysis 3, bf4, gta v, far cry 3, etc. I'am gonna max multitask with 10 tasks. I will probably never go higher then 10 tasks and 2 games up at same time. I will be playing on one 144hz 1080p monitor.

And some of my other specs are

i5 4670k
2x gtx 770
xfx 850w psu

And one more thing. What will have highest score in the windows experience index?

Theoritically the 1866MHz option is faster (equal timings given) but the 1600->1866 is minimal and running out of RAM (while heavily multitasking, that is) if far more performance-killing that lacking those few MHz.

Go with the GB's and don't care for WEI.

1) Yes you would be able to see a diff in benchmark programs, maybe 1 ->3 persecent; BUT in real life Usage Zero performance gain going 1600->1833, Infact there is very little gain jumping up to 2400.
2) While 8 gigs is currently the sweet spot, probably not long until 16 will be the sweet spot - Mostly dependent on multitasking although there are a few apps that will take ALL that you can throw at it.
3) Unless you have a reason for spending an extra $70, the Ripjaw DDR3-1600 CL8 is an excellent choice.

Well with tham minimal MHz difference (800->933), the tighter timing kit will get the better WEI, if I recall correctly.

That goes all the way down to secondary and tertiary timings for you to check...

I still havent got my system. But can MSI Z87-G45 Gaming, Socket-1150 have over four ram kits? So can add 8gb ram more later?

Currently running Ripjaw DDR3-1600 CL7 in two systems - One system 4 x 4 gig and in second sytem 4 x 2. They are the old ones that required 1.60Volts.
Max Ram voltage for SB and IB are 1.575V - Have not check Haswell specs, but probably the same for vcore and ram voltages.

Probably a better choice * $140 (cheaper on per gi) would be the 2 x 8 gig (if planing on going to 16 gigs)

NOTE max ram for Windows Premium is 16 Gigs, need higher end win 7 to go above 16 gigs (DUMB idea from uSoft to limit ram artifficially) - Not an issue with Win 8

They do have CL 7-8-8 But for the 30 bucks higher cost, In my opinion not worth it.

I'd go 2x8GB 1866, with what you are doing now, your load will prob only increase, as far as WEI, it should Max it
