8gb 2400 +2x8gb 3000mhz

I have I3 8100 8gb ram 2400 and motherboard msi Z370-A-PRO, my question is what will happen if i will add these 2x8gb 3000mhz to my 8gb 2400, will they work together ? and also if i will lose any performance such in games.

In best case they would run at 2400 but you just may be better of with only new RAM in there as 16GB is quite enough for any games.
