Hello, my computer has the MS-7658 Mainboard (P55 Chipset). Currently, I have 2x2GB installed, I am looking to upgrade to 2x4GB but I read that the P55 Chipset does not support High Density Memory and I can't seem to find any Low Density Memory online since I don't know exactly what to look for. If you have suggestions, I would appreciate the kit being low-profile because high-profile RAM would interfere with my CPU-cooler.
Thanks in advance.

I was thinking about getting the low-profile variant but I read on some forum-posts that it does not work with the MS-7658.
Further, someone asked for help for Kingston memory and a Kingston employee stated that P55 does not support high-density memory which Vengeance, I thought, atleast, was?

Not sure about it.

I'm running a P55 board with those RAMs.

They should work, but... I can't confirm it.

Alright, I will try Vengeance first and return it if it doesn'T work. Thanks. I won't be able to confirm it for some time because I don't yet have the money, I'll try remembering to, though.

:| Well yeah, that would be an idea, thanks, didn't think about that ^^

This came as an answer :

Our CMX8GX3M2B1333C9 is the only low density memory kit we have left that is compatible with the first generation i7 processors. The first generation i7 processors can only utilize DDR3 modules using 512Mb, 1Gb, or 2Gb.

2Gb(gigabit) technology, 8 IC (black chips on module, referred to as single rank) = 2GB module
2Gb, 16 IC (referred to as dual rank) = 4GB module (CMX8GX3M2B1333C9, 2x 4GB kit)
4Gb, 8 IC = 4GB (CML8GX3M2A1600C9)
4Gb, 16 IC = 8GB

So apparently I will have to go with CMX8GX3M2B1333C9, XMS3, 1333Mhz.

Well - Friend told me he had a spare 8GB, took a look, Crucial memory, google search (well, Amazon) revealed it's high density, got it running without any problems... 8 Modules per RAM Stick fpr 4GB, old ones had 16 for 2 GB so it might aswell indeed be high density.
