8gb + 4gb ram Hyper X Fury Same Timings ,Model And Speed

Hi. I Have A Question If I Have 1 stick of 8gb ram and 1 stick of 4 gb ram will it activate the dual channel memory ? and will it will increase his peformance ? because if i have 8 gb 1 stick some is unplayable and i accidentally bought the 8gb and dont have budget for another 8gb

Cost For Hyper X Fury 4gb:850PHP and For 8gb is 1700PHP
BUDGET: My budget is only 1000PHP

Nope, for dual-channel your sticks have to be the same timing and same size (4GB + 4GB, or 8GB + 8GB), & usually also need to be the same brand/model.

However, since you'd be increasing your available RAM by 50%, you should see a performance boost from buying it.

If you pair them up and they play nice you'll have 8GB running in dual channel and the odd 4 from the 8GB stick in single channel mode, the mobo uses AMDs adaption of Flex mode, more on it in my FAQs artickle item 7 here:
