Hi,
I'm looking into replacing my old AM3/DDR2 motherboard and reusing my current processor, AMD Phenom II x6 1055t. With this board:

I currently have a 4gb stick of Crucial Ballistix 1600 memory and plan on getting another, but for now, just using the single stick until I can afford to upgrade.
I am a light/casual gamer, and play Re6, Borderlands 2, Garrys Mod, Fallout 4, Saints Row 4, the Mass Effect and Sims series, etc...all which don't require powerful hardware to run. My card is a Radeon r7 360...Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch!!

That board only supports DDR3. You cannot use DDR2 with it.

I wouldn't recommend buying anything that doesn't support DDR4, though. If you're going to put money into a computer, you should stick with reasonably modern components. If you don't have the budget to fully upgrade that computer, save up until you do.
