8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM Compatibility Question

Hey all!

I'm about to upgrade my ram on my ASUS P7P55D PRO Motherboard (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P7P55D_PRO/#overview) from 4GB DDR3 @ 1333 to 8GB DDR3 1600. My question is, will I be able to just plug and play with the Ripjaws 8GB 1600 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428) or is it not compatible with my motherboard? I'm also running on an intel i5-750 @ stock speeds 2.66GHz.

I've been reading around and I'm just honestly very confused. Should I go with the 1333MHz version instead? (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231486) as I've read that the 1600MHz would not be compatible but it says 1600 is supported on the asus website.

the 1600 will automatically get downclocked to 1333, but it will work

That's the mobos default, simply enable XMP select profile 1 and will be at 1600
