8gb of 16gb being used

4 sticks..... two 2x4gb sets
I think 1 of the two sets came bad.. I looked up all other solutions and nothing works. I have little experience so how possible is this

Two sets? They probably just don't want to play together, try each set individually and see if they will each work by themselves. If they do, let us know the model #s of the DRAM as well as your CPU and mobo

One set works the other doesnt. Amd 9590

can you even run 4 of these at once? Somewhere on the specs it said 1 dimm per channel, which freaked me out.

Yes, I've run the two 2x8GB sets of these in 2400 with my 8370/Crosshair rig. If the one set of sticks won't work at all by itself, it's a bad set, possibility it was exposed to a magnetic field or other possibles
