8gb of ram but only 5gb usable

I have 8gb of ram installed but it only says 5gb is usable. Is there something wrong with my computer??? Is it supposed to be like that or is there some way to fix it, if it's supposed to be like that I'm ok but idk
My pc:


Windows 10 operating system

AMD FX 4300 processor
8GB system memory.
AMD Radeon RX 460

where is it saying its usable? is it in system info or task manager?

some places usable just means free

Colif, it says it in system info, but now it says only 4gb are usable. How do I fix this ?

right click start
choose run...
type msconfig and press enter

in next pop up, click boot tab'
choose advanced options
untick Maximum memory if ticked
choose apply and exit and restart and see if that helps

is it 1 stick or 2 x 4?
