Hello everyone.
I'll do my best to describe the problem and what i did so far to try and fix it as good as i can.

System specs:
Processor: Intel Core I7 860 @ 2.80 GHZ
64 bit OS (Windows 10)
8 GB of ram of which only 4 GB are available right now.
2 GB x4 (all the same ones)

Motherboard
Manufacturer AsusTek Computer Inc
Product P7P55D
Version Rev1.xx
Bios Version P7P55D-ASUS-2101 (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P7P55D/HelpDesk_BIOS/)

This problem began when i replaced my old amd graphics card with a new NVIDIA 1050 TI (4GB onboard). Before this everything worked just fine.

According to the Asus website, this motherboard should be able to handle 16 GB or 4x 4GB of DDR3 Ram. Currently I have 4x 2 GB DDR3 installed.
I have switched them around in all possible combinations but any way i place them, the problem persists.

In the BIOS it tells me I only have 4GB of available Ram and in the OS it tells me I have 8GB installed but only 4 GB usable.

I tried working around the issue via MSCONFIG Boot tab by unticking the Max Memory with no change to the problem and tried the same with ticking the box and adding 8192 in the field bellow.

Both not working.

I have removed the battery from the motherboard to reset the bios in the hopes this would solve the problem but with no luck there either and reinstalling the bios did not help to.

I am out of ideas on how to try and fix this so any help is more then welcome.

Thanks everyone.
