Hi, I've tried all I know and I'm going to summerize what I've tried and my specs (The title is the problem obv).

Specs:
New Build (Fresh OS):
AMD 6350
GTX 960
8GB Corsair 1866 (I think vengeance) - (2 X 4)
750 Watt Corsair CX PSU
Mobo: 970A SLI MSI
Samsung 850 EVO 500

Windows 10 64 bit
--

What I've tried (Long sigh):
- Updated Bios
- Checked MsConfig
- Checked RAM slots (For dirt and comparability)
- Checked that the system, CPU, and mobo is 64 bit
- Updated all drivers (tried)
- Blah blah blah
- Checked out bios settings

I'm tired and I have no leads anymore

Be a huge help if anyone can give a quick response

Cheers,

Kieran

I've tried that already, Zerk. It didn't work :I I've spent 6 hours yesterday trying things, asking people, and checking the entire system.

As for the bent CPU pins, I find that very unlikely. I do however, it's a Hyper 212 Evo which is clamped down tighter than a nun. The CPU went in strait without errors ;p this isn't my first time.

Also, I forgot to mention.. Yes there is a "reserved" ram part on task manager.

My dad spoke something about "paging file size" which I'll have to look into today.

And don't repost other threads here, none of them are solutions to this 😛 it's not the MsConfig crap.

Even as a new chip? How would that happen in the first place?

I'm sure it was a mistake on my part. Been trying to recreate the install but can't seem to figure out how/why the pins bent. I think installing the CM 212 evo cooler probably did it.

I feel like if a pin was bent, there would be more damage to the system than a simple odd ram allocation error Cx

No cause after I yanked out my CPU and discovered the pins I bent them back and reinstalled CPU. RAM reports the correct memory and the computer is running flawlessly.

I guess it depends on WHAT pins you bend.

I suppose, I would of thought it would have such a more extensive damage. Anyway, I think I may have found the problem which I'm uncertain till I fall MSI.

The ram specs for compatibility are different to the ones from the website from the motherboard manual and retailer. So perhaps there's an error there, it could be complete different ram -.- idk if that actually would cause this problem (Half system total memory to be reserved regardless of amount).
