Hello i bought a g.skill 8GB ripjaws RAM that is 1333Mhz for my asrock extreme3 gen3 motherboard but one of my friends told me it was a little slow for gaming but i wouldn't notice it to much, should i just scrap the RAM and get a corsair vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz RAM ?

Hello,

Well one of your friends are wrong. RAM speed doesn't make much of a difference. The amout of RAM does though, as well as whether or not it's in dual channel configuration or not.

Do you plan overclocking? If not, get the cheaper 1333Mhz ram.

I have corsair vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz RAM and to be honest theres not much difference between 1333 & 1600 for me personally. Stick with it unless you have having performance issues. Whats you specs?
