Tried Both F3 Update for my motherboard and F10 located here:

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-A320M-HD2-rev-10#support-dl

Windows 10 x64 bit
MSconfig is set to Unchecked

OS Sees 8Gbs, But only wants to use 3.95.
which as a gamer, i notice the difference.

Ripjaws are new.
motherboard is New
CPU is new
Cpu Pins are not bent.
Cpu is placed Firmly in the holder.

Tested both slots in motherboard single handledly, both Ram give maximum amount when slotted single.

Help?

Motherboard has 2 ram slots.

Added so people will stop asking if i put the ram in the right slots.

Did you place the RAM sticks in the correct slots? CPU 1234. sticks must sit in 2 and 4 slot.

Can you try with a different pair of RAM sticks, perhaps borrowing from a friend to check if you can achieve full memory on said friends 2 RAM sticks?

I am to tired to give a better reply than this. I will check in after some sleep.

Did you check if the G.Skill RAM kit that you have is on the qualified memory support list: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-A320M-HD2-rev-10#support-doc? If not, the RAM timing may not be correct to support dual-mode/2 sockets.

Yes - I understood that the mobo only has 2 RAM slots. I'm asking if you double checked that the RAM kit you purchased is on the mobo manufacturer's approved list. If it is, than you may still have a bad RAM stick. If it's not on the list, then that may be why you're not able to use all the RAM.

Yes the Ripjaws are on their approved Memory List.

Also each ram stick works on their own.

What does it say in BIOS, how much RAM is displayed there? 8 gb was displayed in Windows but only half was usable? Wierd.

And the motherboard is brand new?

Can you update the bios? Something similar happened to me with the ryzen 1200. I could do 2933mhz but I only had like 3gb available. I updated the bios and I had the full amount of ram but I had to lower my speed to 2666. Strange stuff but not so much for ryzen. Some am4 boards throw some absurd timings to on the memory. Could be that to.

During the day have you been able to google about this problem? If yes, what have you encountered? Are there any flaws reported with that motherboard or the RAM's causing this issue?

Well as the RAM-sticks obviously are working and the amount of GB is displayed correctly in BIOS there must be a flaw with your operating system. You haven't reinstalled the OS right?

I did a search on your motherboard and encountered this:

"SOLVED: Windows 10 Won’t Use Full RAM"
https://appuals.com/windows-10-wont-use-full-ram/

There are like 4 steps that could be done here, but updating/flashing BIOS etc was something you had already tried right? Check it out and see if these steps can help you out, it's worth a shot. I am not sure if this is a major flaw for windows 10 but it looks like it, as your hardware according to BIOS works out all fine.

I would try to solve it by following this guide. If that won't change, make a reinstall of the OS, if still no progress there, follow the guide again. If none of these 2 steps would work I'd check for/try a larger RAM-stick to see if it worked out. I'm starting to run out of ideas and software isn't really my area of expertise. Perhaps Scottray knows more?

i already googled the issue and those 4 steps are all that come up in every situation.
they don't solve my issue.

I understand, do you have the possibility with installing another OS like Linux or something else maybe? I don't really know how to help you, but if it's a faulty because of the OS from windows, another OS might help us prove that.

Or might we miss an update from windows themselves maybe?

notice anything?

Edit: Nope nevermind, Update did nothing still at 3.95

and no i own no other OS types
