8gb ram installed, 3.30 usable - Windows 7 x64 professional installed, checked msconfig.

i have a ESC H55-m Motherboard that allows up to 16gb of ram, i tried msconfig, i checked that the chipsets were compatible with the motherboard, i did memtest and nothing showed up. When i reboot and enter the BIOS for remapping chipset the pc wont load the chipsets. Help!
