Hello guys,

I have recently bought
Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL10 HyperX Fury Blue Series ... when I replaced my old RAM with them (they are 8GB too), Windows tells me there is only 3.96GB RAM usable.

- Yes I have 64-bit Windows. With my old RAM there was no problem. I had 8GB usable.

- In the msconfig I have unchecked maximum memory size

- I tried both channels

- I have tried running memcheck and it didnt find any errors

I would appreciate your ideas. Thank you guys :)

btw my specs:
CPU- AMD FX-8350
GPU- ASUS GTX970
PSU- Corsair RM650
Motherboard - GIGABYTE 990XA-UD3
RAM - Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL10 HyperX Fury Blue Series
HDD - 3,5" 7200RPM 1TB
SSD- Intel 120GB
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I dont know why I didnt think of that. One stick is fine, but with other PC wont boot, so it appears that one RAM is faulty. Thank you :) But why even windows recognized there is 8GB Installed? And why did the memcheck didnt find any errors?

Thanks for your quick response :)
