8GB ram installed but only 4 usable how solve that

Solution
Make sure your ram is really tight on its slot because I had this problem, and all I did was switch up the rams and tighten it and all of the sudden all my ram was being used after it only half of it was being used

what is the option ???? in bios so i can try it .....

avout MSConfig i can not understand you 😀 what you mean

Go to MSConfig, then Boot and Advanced Options, if maximum memory is enabled there, disable it (I highly doubt it's enabled unless you have tried to mess with something)

it is disabled i did not mess with anything

Couldn't tell from those pictures. My first thought was that it was getting pulled for vram but 4GB is an awful lot of ram to reserve for that.

Exactly what I told you, sometimes its just the simple things that work

OK guys this problem really got into me and finally fixed it and have step by step of how to do this.
After restarting time and time again I found that sometimes it read the RAM as single channel and sometimes dual. So heres how to troubleshoot:
1) make sure your RAM sits nicely in the correct slots
2)Take out, blow any dust out of them, change channel positions
3)make sure in run>msconfig>advanded the memory options are disabled+restart
4)instant flash or make latest updates of your motherboard using a formated FAT32 usb to put executable file and INSTANT FLASH in the BIOS or whatever is described in manually updating your mobo.
5) set DRAM voltage in BIOS just a little bit higher
6) old mobos like my ASrock sometimes read a single channel configuration and sometimes a dual. If problem is not fixed yet(see number 1), restart multiple times and see if memory reads as single channel or dual
7) try another kind of RAM or buy a new mobo :b
