[SOLVED] 8gb ram module set to 256mb in bios?

I have two 8gb ram modules and both are set to 256mb. The speed works like normal but I only have 256mb in both bios and windows. I tried resetting cmos but that didn't work tried updating my bios. Another problem is that they won't boot up together.

Ryzen 5 2600
Teamforce Delta DDR4 RGB ram 2x8gb 3200mhz
Asus Rog Strix B450-F

the speed is correct? you mean it is a 2x8GB 2400 stick?
mixing with 2x4GB 3200 kit?

It's currently set to 2400mhz. The issue is not the speed of the ram. I am indeed mixing ram but a few weeks ago it was working perfectly with no problems. Then I updated the Bios and it had issues.

What slots do you have what RAM in? If you have two different kits of two sticks, if there are matching sticks in A1 and A2, as it appears from your screenshot, then you've installed the RAM incorrectly, which doesn't help things.

mb I'm retarted. Imma try switching the ram positions. So what you're saying is that the mixed one should be on A2 and the two matching ones should go on A1 and B1?

Just tried that. Didn't work. Imma just apply for a RMA since I got a lifetime warranty but thanks for the help ig
