I have 8GB ram only 3,5gb usable(windows xp)

32-bit Operating Systems can only address 3.5GB or so of RAM.

check your bios and set RAM from manual to Automatic detection then check again from windows.

Windows7 can solve your issue. WinXP can't use more than 4GB of RAM(as per my knowldge).
