8gb ram or 12 gb ram for graphic designer

Model : Dell 15 7559 (Window 10, Core i5 6th Generation)
Condition: less than 1 month (new)
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 960 M
RAM: 4GB
Usage: Adobe illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Adobe photoshop and Gaming (e.g Assassin Creed series)

I want to upgrade my RAM, but I don't want to spend more than I need.
Is 8GB ram enough for me or 12GB RAM?

I'd stick with pairs of the same and 8GB may be enough. RAM is cheap. Just grab 2x8

My laptop have 4gb ram inside, so I'm thinking to add 4GB (total 8GB) or 8GB (total 12GB)

P.S I spend almost all my savings on this new laptop and now I can't afford to buy more than 8GB ram
