[SOLVED] 8gb vs 16gb for only gaming.

I’m a little upset as my motherboard only has 2 ram slots I already ordered it. A shame all the other brands of that class board has 4 slots. I only game I don’t do anything else on my pc but game. But games like dishonored 2 anthem and other games recommend 12gb and 16gb. I usually like to have head room and be as close to recommended as possible but is 8gb of ram good and if so how many years ? It’s really urking me not having 16...

I think more than 8 will be needed in a couple of years. 16GB will be the mainstream norm.

Yeah I figured. I’ll just get 16gb then. Sad because I’ve gotten a good deal of 8gb for 40$

I should’ve freakin checked the board Man. It’s not horrible I just hate being limited. But I’m going going to grab rip jaws from Newegg for 85$
