I am preparing to migrate my current system over to a new system. I am running out of storage (currently 64TB) and my new tools require more CPU, GPU, bandwidth and storage solutions.
My new ASUS WRX90 Sage SE has 4 X M.2 SSD and 4 X Sata III HDD.
I would like to store my libraries separately to access them. I currently have a 1GBe Synology NAS that I mainly use for back-up.
I am an independent filmmaker. I use Adobe CC 2024, Resolve 19, Blender, Izotope Studio 11, etc.
My concerns are to have access to library assets for projects that can I can preview in real time.
Should I store the libraries internally on HDD's or should I get a second NAS with 10Ge to access the libraries?
How should I set up my workstation/asset library configuration to access the very large libraries for use in projects?
