Question 8khz mouse

Hello, i got new razer viper 8khz mouse, and i used to use 2000 dpi and 1000hz, and was fine, but using 2000 dpi and 8000hz, then its totally different, should i lower my dpi or go back 1000hz, does anyone else have 8000hz mouse, what dpi do you guys use? and also i feel my games lag more, and i also know some games not ready for it, so should i go back to 1000h or get used to example 4000 or 8000hz
