What cord do I need for my GTX1080 8GB MSI, so it hooks up with my 1000W Supernova power supply. (MB: Sabertooth 990FX) I only have a 8pin to a 6pin VGA but I don't think I have a 6pin VGA slot.
Are you plugging the correct end of the cable into the PSU? The 8-pin end goes to the PSU; the 6+2 pin end goes to the card. There's no reason it shouldn't fit perfectly unless you have the wrong cable.
If you're talking about the 6-pin and 8-pin headers on the gfx card, your PSU should have the necessary cables/connectors (6x 8pin (6+2) and 2x 6pin) for any card. Is this your card?

I have the black and red MSI one, but yeah pretty much. My graphics card turns on and the LED'S show, but the fans dont spin and I have a black screen.

Link me to the exact card you have, if the one I linked to was incorrect.
My only real problem is that the AVG cord bends every time I attempt to put it in my power supply. (In the bottom three slots) (The clip at the top of it bends)
