I recently bought this sapphire rx 470 4gb. It had a broken fan so i got it for a very low price, however even after fixing the fan graphics card won't work. When i install it in the computer the whole system don't power on, the fans dont spin nor the lights come on.
When i open the gpu to throughly clean i noticed that 3 out 8pin connector were solitored together.
Is it normal?
How can i fix it?

Look at this pinout -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express#Power The 12V or the grounds could be soldered together. My GUESS would be the ground pins are soldered together.

It is possible that three could be soldered together as three of them are the same voltage.

If you look at the picture of the 8 pin GPU pinout...if the three yellows are soldered together.....or the three grays....that shouldn't cause a problem.

I don't think these 3 are ground
