I recently reset my PC because of this: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/newresponse/3675247?siteFrom=EPR-8809 , and I'm getting 90% RAM usage on startup. I have windows 8.1 64 bit and 8gb of ram, and when I launch my computer i get 90% RAM usage. There's nothing in the task manager to suggest that it should be using that much. I've followed these videos so far and nothing has happened:

Thanks, I think I might have fixed it though; I turned on the driver verifier on windows and now suddenly its fine. Don't know if that's the right thing to do though or if its safe

Caution:
Running Driver Verifier could cause the computer to crash.
You should only run Driver Verifier on computers you are using for testing and debugging.
So it probably shouldn't be running all the time, but it might show that some driver is responsible for this behaviour. You did as i asked? Update motherboard drivers ... ,also look at graphics drivers.
