They will both game the same. But the intel one will allow for better crossfire.

Not planning on CF, but if both will game the same then should I just go with the AMD build then and fit in the SSD? For general use how much of a difference would I notice having it?

I don't have an ssd, but your PC will boot a lot faster, as well as the games you have on it. But, with games there will be no difference, maybe 1 or 2 frames at most.
